Pet Pride Thursday - Manzari

For Pet Pride Thursday, I present to you all, Manzari, the cat in our office premises. She has been a part of our area for last 5 years and the last time I saw her (June 2009), she was expecting. Even though I haven't seen any kittens playing around, I am sure she is back for good.

She was given this name by Deepak, who is the host of 'Pet Pride' which has introduced, Kaalu, Maurya, Chaalu and Cheekoo in the past on these blogs. I am making a come back with Manzari on Pet Pride. Hope I will be welcomed.

Pet Pride - Earthworms

They say earthworms are farmer's best friend. I am a farmer in my own little balcony where I tend to small plants. Recently, this tiny fella gave a small visit to my plants and I decided that he should make some friends during his journey.

I didnt know there could be ducks in the city too, that too in the middle of a heavily populated area of Mumbai??? Wow...RARE...couldnt stop myself from shooting (spare me PETA) these gorgeous feathered ones.

Pet Pride Post III

This is another furry friend of mine..His name is Cheekoo...He belongs to our building watchmen, more of an adopted pet for him. :)

You guys have already met Kaalu. Today I introduce you all to my other favourite pet during my morning walks. Meet Maurya...He is my neighbour's relative's dog. Recently the relatives were out of town for 2 weeks and I had the pleasure of spending time with this gorgeous hunk.

Unfortunately, the relatives came back yesterday and I could'nt say good bye to him. The good news however is that he is just 2 blocks away and I get to see him every morning on the way to gym, while aunty waits for her children to get into the school bus :)

A mother's watchful eye is always around... :) Clicked this photograph on the way back from gym, wherein these naughty puppies were playing in the dirt while their mother watched...

They are not my pets. I wonder if I can still submit this pic for Pet Pride. Will have to ask magic eye a.k.a Deepak.

Thats the pet cat in our office. We dont have a name for her yet, Would appreciate some suggestions. She is pregnant right now and hence did'nt mind us clicking photographs so close to her as well.

Dog- Man's Best friend

Kaalu: as he is known in the small world of my gymnasium "Fitness world", Ghatkopar. This black and white friend of mine, is the first thing that greets me in the morning. Calm and Obedient by nature...Kaalu is the best friend of our gym's caretaker, lovingly known as 'CHACHA'.
